Punishers2K TCS Fastpicth 10U Champs.

Check out our Punishers at the "Red White and Blue" tournament this weekend in Mission Viejo. We were the only team to go undefeated this weekend (yep, that includes the 12,14,16 and even 18 y/o division) We had some close games, and we had some blow outs, but the girls played hard all weekend long.

We had so many great plays, I really need to take notes to keep from forgetting them all. Please post some comments below to help me fill in the blanks. I think we had four triples in our first game Sunday. Evelyn hit a grand slam with bases loaded. I need your help to update the blog.

Madi H. was busy making feather extensions and donated the proceeds to the team for Reno. Way to look out for the team, were proud of the selflessness. Our resident artist Taylor spent the whole day painting faces Father's day weekend. Forgot to give her props for her fantastic work and helping donate to the team as well.

Well it is nearly midnight, the video took a little longer than anticipated, I sure hope we get some followers to motivate me to keep this going.

Going to the Championship game, handed it to Mizuno 14-2 (mercy rule). Started it with Evelyn's grand slam homer! Recap later, let's go Punishers.

We came back from a 4-1 deficit in the first game, putting up 9 runs in one inning to win 10-4. 5 hrs later we won our first bracket game. Mizuno's next -Semi's

Wow, great game! Down by a run we come back in the last inning to win 5-4. Dropped third strike catcher chased Rhyen, Carly jammed home n scored.

Madi H.made a great running catch in foul territory, Erica already struck out two in the first inning. Az left a runner at third base. 0-0

6-0 1st game agnst OC dynasty. Evelyn - solo homerun OVER the sidewalk in outfield. Carly - Madi B.- Hannah Double play. Rhyen- caught em at 2nd trying to steal

Father's Day Weekend

Hello Punisher2k Family and Friends. Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days; hope we generate more interest in this blog. Just wanted to thank everyone for helping out and supporting the Punishers friendly on Saturday and the Mizuno friendly on Sunday. Yep that was father's day, all of the dads were there to support our girls. Happy Fathers Day. We had to even the score. Moms were watching softball on Mother's day, so it's only fair.

We did some fundraising on Saturday. Erick spent some serious time fixing the meat and behind the grill. The boys made sure the fields were prepped and the girls did everything else. If you missed it, you really missed out. We run a gourmet snack bar. Carne Asada, Carnitas, Pollo Asada, breakfast burritos, hotdogs and hamburgers, you name it.

We made progress for our World Series Trip to Reno Nevada, but it looks like a Poker Tournament is needed to get us the rest of the way. More info will follow, so far we are looking at the 9th of July. So save the date.

Sunday, we played some great ball. The scores didn't always reflect the games, we were "right there" hanging with Gamers, Rage and Corona Angels. Reno here we come. PUNISHERS in the house!

Oh, By the way, Did you hear we had a TRIPLE PLAY? Thats right! Forget the out or the double play; we had a Triple Play!!!!!! Let me set the scene. Gamers had runners on 1st and 2nd base with no outs. Madi "dont hit it to me" Berry made the first out by hustling backwards with a leaping grab. It was a perfect throw to Carly "the glove" Hernandez (already waiting at 2nd base) who fired a bb to Hanna "I can stretch" King at 1st base. The girls on 1st and 2nd base had no idea what just happened to them, they got caught trying to advance to the next base. I dare you find a better play. I can hear the ESPN music now dun nun nun ,dun nun nun definitely highlight material.

Here is a shot of Evelyn, our newest Punisher putting the hurt on the softball during a recent game. I will be sure to post pics of all our girls I am working on a slideshow that plays on this site.

WELCOME TO THE PUNISHERS 10U/12U FRIENDLY 6/18.

ALL GAMES WILL BE HELD AT ARTESIA PARK,

LOCATED AT 18750 CLARKSDALE AVE, ARTESIA,CA.

WE WILL HAVE A FULL SNACK BAR FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

Be Sure to see us play at our home field this Saturday as we host a friendly with some fantastic teams!

We also need your help to support us for our upcoming trip to Reno, Nevada at the end of next month. The girls have worked hard to have the opportunity to compete in the Triple Crown World Series.

The snack bar support will go a long way in helping us and we promise the food will be terrific. Come out and enjoy a fun day of softball and best of all, we will be super close to home!

Dont forget to pick up a flyer with all of the details on our "Adopt a Punisher". We appreciate your help in getting us to Reno and every penny counts. We will be in a parade, have costume contests, as well as creating one of a kind pins to trade with the girls coming from all over the state to compete. We are also competing in a team skills contest and the girls will get to take the field and get some recognition during the minor league game. Anyone that donates can sign up for a daily update on scores and photos of what the girls are up to the entire week. I promise to keep the blog and Facebook up to date.

Sunday we are playing in Tustin in the Mizuno Friendly. More info will be posted tomorrow so be sure to come back to get the update.
