Father's Day Weekend

Hello Punisher2k Family and Friends. Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days; hope we generate more interest in this blog. Just wanted to thank everyone for helping out and supporting the Punishers friendly on Saturday and the Mizuno friendly on Sunday. Yep that was father's day, all of the dads were there to support our girls. Happy Fathers Day. We had to even the score. Moms were watching softball on Mother's day, so it's only fair.

We did some fundraising on Saturday. Erick spent some serious time fixing the meat and behind the grill. The boys made sure the fields were prepped and the girls did everything else. If you missed it, you really missed out. We run a gourmet snack bar. Carne Asada, Carnitas, Pollo Asada, breakfast burritos, hotdogs and hamburgers, you name it.

We made progress for our World Series Trip to Reno Nevada, but it looks like a Poker Tournament is needed to get us the rest of the way. More info will follow, so far we are looking at the 9th of July. So save the date.

Sunday, we played some great ball. The scores didn't always reflect the games, we were "right there" hanging with Gamers, Rage and Corona Angels. Reno here we come. PUNISHERS in the house!

Oh, By the way, Did you hear we had a TRIPLE PLAY? Thats right! Forget the out or the double play; we had a Triple Play!!!!!! Let me set the scene. Gamers had runners on 1st and 2nd base with no outs. Madi "dont hit it to me" Berry made the first out by hustling backwards with a leaping grab. It was a perfect throw to Carly "the glove" Hernandez (already waiting at 2nd base) who fired a bb to Hanna "I can stretch" King at 1st base. The girls on 1st and 2nd base had no idea what just happened to them, they got caught trying to advance to the next base. I dare you find a better play. I can hear the ESPN music now dun nun nun ,dun nun nun definitely highlight material.

Here is a shot of Evelyn, our newest Punisher putting the hurt on the softball during a recent game. I will be sure to post pics of all our girls I am working on a slideshow that plays on this site.
